Recording an e-signature key to confirm status changes

Record an e-signature key on your mobile device to be used to confirm that a status change is complete and valid.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have completed the onboarding task for Maximo® Mobile

About this task

Maximo Manage e-signature keys capture and validate work order status changes on the My Schedule page. E-signature keys can also be used with applications that are duplicated.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Maximo Mobile.
  2. Select a record, for example, a work order, and change its status.
    If the status attribute is one listed on the maximo.mobile.wostatusforesig system property, you are prompted for the e-signature key
    1. Enter the e-signature key and provide a summary of the change.
    2. Tap Save.

Results

The work order status is updated.

If you did not previously set an e-signature value during onboarding, or if you cancel when prompted for the e-signature, the change is not performed.
