Changing my personal information

You use the Personal Information dialog box to add or change workplace and credit card information that the system uses on certain kinds of records.

Procedure

  1. From the tool bar, click Profile and select Personal Information.
  2. In the Personal Information dialog box, edit the following fields as needed:
    Field name Description
    Primary Phone List the phone number or numbers where you can be reached. To list multiple phone numbers, click Show/Manage Values and add rows in the dialog box that opens. Specify the Type, for example Home or Work, and select the Primary check box to indicate the number with which you can best be reached. If the Primary Phone field contains more than one phone number, it becomes read-only and you must click Show/Manage Values to see all of them or edit the field.
    Primary E-mail List your e-mail address or addresses. To list multiple addresses, click Show/Manage Values and add rows in the dialog box that opens. Specify the Type, for example Home or Work, and select the Primary check box to indicate the address with which you can best be reached. If the Primary E-mail field contains more than one address, it becomes read-only and you must click Show/Manage Values to see all of them or edit the field.
    Primary SMS List your short message service address or addresses for receiving short text messages. To list multiple addresses, click Show/Manage Values and add rows in the dialog box that opens. Specify the Type, and select the Is this the Primary SMS Address check box to indicate the address where you can best be reached. If the Primary SMS field contains more than one address, it becomes read-only and you must click Show/Manage Values to see all of them or edit the field.
    Person's Site Specify the site where you work.
    Person's Location The specific location where you work may be part of your company's location structure. Click Select Value to select from a list.
    Ship to Address If you specified a site in the Person's Site field, specify the appropriate shipping address.
    Drop Point Specify a drop point for deliveries.
    Card # If you have a company credit card, specify its number.
    Card Type Click the drop down button to select from a list.
    Verification Value Specify the three- or four-digit code on the credit card.
    Expiration Date Specify the date on which the card expires.
  3. Click OK.
