Activity effectiveness

In Reliability Strategies, you can assess the effectiveness of a mitigation activity or action at finding a failure mode and preventing a failure.

Table 1. Levels of effectiveness
Level	Description
High	The activity typically finds the failure mode before a failure occurs at least 97% of the time.
Medium	The activity typically finds the failure mode before a failure occurs at least 80% of the time.
Low	The activity typically finds the failure mode before a failure occurs at least 50% of the time.
