Enabling application components

You must manually enable the Add/Modify Linear Referencing Methods menu option in the Security Groups application. You can also enable several other license-based components at the same time.

1. In the Security Groups application, specify EVERYONE in the Group field and then click the Applications tab.
2. Select the Assets application.
3. In the Options for Assets table, select the Grant Access check box for the Add/Modify Linear Referencing Method option.
4. Ensure that the check boxes to grant access to the Add/Modify Conversions and the Add/Modify Units of Measure options are also selected.
   These menu options must be enabled because you must configure units of measure and conversion factors to use in your linear referencing methods.
5. Filter for the following options and grant access to them also:
   • Filter by Linear Assets
   • Relationships tab
   • View Relationship History
6. Click Grant Listed Options for this Application to commit the changes that you configured.
