Viewing optimization processes and results
To understand the impact of optimization models, you can view the progress of completed, scheduled, or ongoing optimization processes, and you can view the optimization results.
Viewing optimization processes
To view the progress of completed, scheduled, or ongoing optimization processes, go to the More Actions menu for the application and select one of the options.
- To see optimization processes that are running, select View Optimization Processes. You can see the status of each process, and how long it took to complete. You can also see an optimization summary, a conflict report for failed optimizations, and a list of records that were not optimized or assigned. These records appear in the Gantt view in red at the end of the scheduled dates. (You can set a system property to move the records to the beginning of the schedule instead.)
- To view optimization processes that are scheduled to run but not running currently, select View Scheduled Optimization Processes.
- To see a log of current optimization processes, select View Optimization Progress.
- For scheduling optimization, the View Optimization Progress window displays key performance indicator (KPI) information. You can stop the optimization process by clicking Terminate.
Viewing optimization results
Use one of the following methods to view optimization results.
- Optimization Report
- After you run optimization, the Optimization Report window opens.
- View Optimization Processes
-
- In your application, go to the More Actions menu and click the menu item View Optimization Processes.
- In the Optimization Processes window, go to the scenario that you want to look at and click the View Optimization report icon.
- In the Optimization Report, go to the Status field and see the status.
- Follow the steps that are outlined in the Optimization Report section.
- Optimization Jobs
-
- As the Optimizer application administrator, or another user with permissions, click the AppSwitcher icon and click Optimizer.
- In the Administration window for Optimizer, click Jobs.
- In the Optimization Jobs window, see jobs information in graphs and in a table.
- In the table, take the following actions.
- Click the Filters icon to enter filter text that filters data to display in the table. Use the Clear all filters icon to clear the filter text.
- For a job that you are interested in, click the chevron on the table row for that job. The table row expands and displays more information about the job.
- For a job that you are interested in, click the More actions icon (the three dot icon) on the table row for that job. In the drop-down menu, click Download Attachments.
