Working with routes

You can create routes, view the routes assigned to assets and locations, associate linear assets with routes, and run reports on routes.

Creating routes
You can create a route to list all assets of the same type, all assets in a certain location, or both. For example, an inspection route might list all fire extinguishers in a plant, or all safety equipment in a building.
Viewing history
View the history of a route's status from the time you create it.
Viewing routes assigned to assets and locations
You can view the routes associated with an asset or location.
Running, scheduling, and printing reports within an application
When you are in an application and you need report information, there are several report actions from which you can choose to get that information. For example, you can run a report and then view its table of contents, print the report, and export the report data. You can open and view a report in a browser. You can directly print out a report, with or without attachments. You can schedule a report and send it using e-mail, and you can view and edit scheduled reports.
