Importing reports

Import a BIRT Report Design file (the report file) to either add a new report or bring an updated version of an existing report into your database. Before you import the design file, you must import any associated library files.

1. In the Report Administration application, search for and select any existing report.
2. Select the Import Report action from under More Actions.
3. In the Report Design File field, enter the location of the report file you are importing.
   Note: If you want to import a bar code report, a default bar code font, Libra Bar code 128 is made available on the /usr/share/fonts/truetype folder on the Liberty server. If you use this font for your bar code reports, you do not have to add a bar code font.
4. Optional: In the Report Resource File field, enter the location of any resource files, which contain items such as images or external files.
5. Save your changes.
