Reorder locks
When you reorder items in the Inventory application, a lock is placed on the storeroom being restocked. This action prevents other users from reordering items for the same storeroom at the same time.
When you reorder items in preview mode, you can inadvertently create
a reorder lock even though you are no longer using the process. While
you are in preview mode, reorder locks can occur under the following
circumstances:
- You click a browser navigation button.
- The server times out while the reorder process is running. If the server times out, restart the server.
- The session times out. If the session times out, the lock clears after 30 minutes. Your system administrator can change this setting to a longer duration or to a shorter duration. The length of time for the lock can be specified in the mxe.reorder.previewtimeout property.
Reorder locks must be removed after the reorder process is complete. You remove reorder locks by selecting .
