Adding alternate items
You can add alternate items to an item record. You designate alternate items when you want to use inventory items interchangeably.
About this task
Procedure
- In the Item Master application, display the record to which you want to add an alternate item.
- In the Alternate Items table window, click New Row to add an alternate item.
- In the Item field, type a value or click Detail Menu to select an option and to retrieve an alternate item.
- Enter additional fields as needed, and click Save Item to add the alternate item to the item record.
