Safety hazards associated with work orders

You associate hazards with safety-related assets for the asset or location listed on a work order by adding hazards to the safety plan.

The association between the asset or location on the work order and their related assets and hazards must exist on the asset record or location record. Safety-related assets might have safety hazards that affect the work environment for the current work order.

You use the Select Safety Hazards action to add safety hazards. Safety hazards include the following information:

  • Whether the asset or location can have tag outs.
  • Whether the asset or location can have hazardous materials.
  • Whether the asset or location can have precautions.

If you enter any item also identified as hazardous material, information for the hazard is automatically added in the Safety Plan tab.
