Before you can implement dynamic job plans, your administrator must configure a system
property to enable dynamic job plans. Administrators must also give users permission to edit dynamic
job plans for work orders.
About this task
By default, the dynamicjobplan system property is not enabled. An
administrator must enable the property before you can implement dynamic job plans. In addition, an
administrator must update the edit rules for work orders in the Organizations application to ensure
that users have permission to edit dynamic job plans.
Procedure

To enable the dynamicjobplan system property, complete the following
steps:

Go to .

Filter to locate the dynamicjobplan system property and expand the row for
that property.

In the Global Value field in the Global Properties Details section,
enter 1.

Save the record.

Select the check box for the dynamicjobplan property row.

From the Common Actions menu, click Live
Refresh.

In the Live Refresh window, click OK.

To grant edit rights for dynamic job plans, complete the following steps:

Go to .

Select the organization that you want to give dynamic job plan access to.

From the More Actions menu, click .

In the Edit Rules window, select the check box for the Dynamic
Job Plan column and click OK.

Save the record.
Results
When you complete the configuration steps, the Is dynamic field is
available in the Job Plans application, and users can create dynamic job plans.
