Adding work assets to job plans

You can add work assets, such as locations and items, to a job plan. When you add work assets, you can associate safety plans when the asset is used on a work order. When you generate a work order from the job plan for the work asset, the safety plan or other associated plans are copied to the work order.

About this task

If the job plan has an organization or site at the job plan level, every asset that you add inherits the organization or site information.

1. In the Job Plans application, select the job plan to which you want to add assets.
2. On the Work Assets tab, click New Row.
3. Specify values for location, asset, and item.
4. Save your changes.
