Deletion of package definitions

When you delete a package definition, all the data that is related to the package definition is also deleted.

You can delete a package definition at any time except when a corresponding package has a status of Create_Inprogress or Deploy_Inprogress.

When you delete a package definition, its related data is deleted. The related data includes the following items:

• The packages that have been created from the package definition.
• The targets and distributions that have been associated with the package definition.
• For a Change package definition, the changes that have been tracked.

You delete a package definition by selecting the Delete Package Definition action.
