Status changes
When you no longer need to use a qualification record, you can change the status of that record to inactive.
Qualification status changes
If you change the status of a qualification to inactive, that qualification cannot be associated with a labor record. However, labor records that are already associated with the qualification are unaffected by this change in qualification status.
In the Qualifications application, you use the Change Status action to change the status of qualifications.

You can change the status of a qualification associated with a labor record. The status change of the qualification is applicable only for that labor record; the overall status of the qualification is not changed.
