Rules for deleting work orders
You use the Quick Reporting application to delete a work order under specific conditions. When you delete a work order, you can elect whether to delete the associated child work orders.
If you want to delete a work order and its child work orders, then the work order and its children must meet the following criteria:
- They must have a status of Waiting for Approval (WAPPR).
- They must not have any transactions registered against them, except for Work Order Status (WOSTATUS).
- They must not have any actuals reported against them.
- They must not have any labor assignments associated with them.
- They must not have any measurements or meter readings taken against them.
- They must not have been generated for a purchase order or for a receipt.
- They must not have any failures reported against them.
- They must not be in Workflow, or ever have been in Workflow.
- They cannot have been created by a Preventive Maintenance generation.
- They cannot be in follow-up work or have follow-up work in progress.
