Job plan owners
The owner of a job plan is the party responsible for the service management of the work when the job plan is used on a work order, route, or preventive maintenance record. The owner can be a person or an owner group, and is not the party responsible for performing the work.
If the Owner field and Owner Group field on a work order are blank when you apply a job plan to the work order, the owner information is copied to the work order. When you apply a job plan to a preventive maintenance record, the owner or owner group from the job plan overwrites the existing information about the preventive maintenance record.
