Duplication of work orders

To save time, you can create a copy of a work order that includes information from the original work order. You can duplicate a work order with its tasks, without its tasks, or with its hierarchy. When you duplicate the work order hierarchy, the child tasks are also duplicated.

To duplicate a work order, use the Duplicate Work Order action. If a work order that you are duplicating has a job plan or a safety plan, these plans are copied to the duplicate work order. Work actuals, failure reports, and planned moves or modifications are not copied to the duplicate work order.
