Associating safety plans with work orders

You can associate a safety plan with a work order to help ensure that the work is performed safely. You can associate a safety plan until the work order is approved. If a work order already has an associated safety plan, you must remove it before you can select another safety plan.

1. In the Work Order Tracking application, select the work order with which you want to associate a safety plan.
2. In the Job Details section of the Work Order tab, specify the details for the safety plan.
3. In the Select Value window, select one of the following options to view available safety plans:
   • To view all safety plans in the database, select Show All Safety Plans.
   • To view safety plans that are associated with the asset or location on the work order, select Show Safety Plans for the Current Work Order.
   • To view safety plans that are associated with the job plan on the work order, select Show Safety Plans for the Job Plan of the Current Work Order.
4. Save the work order.
