Work Queue Manager

Administrators and users with administration permissions use the Work Queue Manager application to create work queues. Work queues group similar issues into a single view to streamline the asset management process.

A work queue consists of a list of potential issues that managers or supervisors can easily review, assign, and address. When creating a work queue, administrators can select applications and predefined queries, associate person groups to the work queue, and select actions. The predefined queries can be Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) queries or classic saved queries.

Managers and supervisors can use the Work queues card on the Operational Dashboard to review and take quick action on issues. Work queues can be created to group together the following items:
  • Work orders
  • Purchase requests
  • Purchase orders
  • Incidents
  • Service requests
Starting in Maximo® Manage 9.1, three work queues are provided by default.
  • DEF LABOR EXPIRING QUAL: Labor that has a qualification due to expire in the next 30 days.
  • DEF MY WORK ORDERS: Work orders you own.
  • DEF YDAYS INCOMPLETE WORK: Work orders that were scheduled to be completed yesterday.
