Logical Management Operations
Logical management operations define actions that the integration framework takes on operational management products. Operational management products are individual external products that you can use to implement logical management operations.
You can use the Logical Management Operations application to identify the following characteristics of a logical management operation:
- The source and response object names that associated with the logical management operation, which defines the data source and target for the logical management operation.
- The specific object field attributes the data source and target use.
- The invocation pattern the logical management operation uses.
- A secondary namespace identifier for the logical management operation record.
To implement a logical management operation, you define a relationship between the integration module and the logical management operation in the Integration Modules application. You can use the integration module endpoint handler to identify how the integration framework communicates with the operational management product. The integration module can then map a response to your defined response object in the logical management operation. You can use the View IM action to view the related integration modules for a selected logical management operation.
