Inventory Usage

With the daily use of inventory items and tools, inventory materials must be moved between storerooms to supply the different areas of a site. You use the Inventory Usage application to create inventory usage records that track the issue, transfer, and return of inventory items within and across organizations.

You can monitor the balance of inventory items that are in stock, and you can issue items or tools directly to charge entities such as work orders, locations, or assets. You can also issue items or tools against a general ledger account on-site, across sites in an organization, or across organizations.
