Associating document folders with applications

Administrators can associate document folders with Maximo® Manage applications. By default, folders for attachments, images, and diagrams are associated with applications that have the attached documents action.

Before you begin

You must have administrator privileges to associate document folders with an application.

Procedure

  1. Open a Maximo Manage application that has the attached documents actions.
  2. Select Attachment Library/Folders, then select the Associate Folders action.
  3. Click New Row.
  4. In the Document Folder field, enter a value. The Document Folder Description field and the Application field contain default values, which you can change.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
