Associating asset types with services and service groups

In the Service Groups application, you can simplify the management of service by associating asset types with specific services and service groups in your organization.

1. In the Service Groups application, select the service or service group with which you want to associate asset types.
2. Select the Associate Assets/Locations action.
3. On the Asset Types tab in the Associate Assets and Locations dialog box, click New Row and specify a value for the asset type.
4. Optional: Provide a description of the asset type.
5. Click OK.
6. Save your changes.
