Enabling electronic signatures for inspection forms

You can enable the recording of electronic signatures when changing the status of inspection forms in the Inspection Forms application. Electronic signatures for inspection forms can be set up in the Database Configuration application.

About this task

Note: Electronic signatures for inspection forms are available starting in Maximo® Application Suite 9.1, in the February feature channel.

Procedure

  1. In the Database Configuration application, open the INSPECTIONFORM object record.
  2. On the Attributes tab, filter for the STATUS attribute.
  3. Expand the STATUS attribute row and select the E-signature Enabled checkbox.
  4. From the More Actions menu, select Manage eSig Actions.
    The Manage eSig Actions window opens.
  5. In the Applications table, filter for UI Definition of the Inspection Form table.
  6. In the Options table, select the Change Status checkbox.
  7. Click OK. Save the record.
  8. In Administrator mode, apply the configuration changes.
