In the System Configuration application, you can enable thread logs to track actions made
by specified users in
Maximo® Manage, such
as in the user interface.
Procedure

In the Logging application, select the Configure Custom Logging action.
On the Thread Logger tab, create a row in the Thread Loggers section.

Select a context value so that actions that are performed in that area of
Maximo Manage are tracked in the thread log. For
example, you can select UI to track actions that are performed in the user
interface.

Specify the name of the user whose actions are logged and select the Is
Enabled? check box.

In the Thread Logger Details section, specify the type of log for the type of actions that are
logged, such as SQL actions.

In the Thread Logger Details section, specify the level to indicate how much information is
retrieved by the logger. The following table explains each of the levels:

Retrieves general information about completed actions. |
DEBUG |
Retrieves detailed information about completed actions. This level is the default
level. |
