ALN domains

Alphanumeric, or ALN, domains are simple lists of values that use one of the alphanumeric data types: ALN, UPPER, and LOWER. They are typically used for static lists of values that rarely change.

ALN domains can only be edited in the Domains application.

Example

Your company requires that calendar information is consistent because the data is used in reports and audits. You create a list of valid values for days of the week or months of the year.
