Adding schedules to the Dispatching dashboard

You can choose which schedules appear on the Dispatching dashboard by creating a schedule scenario. Then, you must prepare the schedule for the dashboard.

Procedure

  1. On the Dispatching dashboard, on the Schedules card, click Add schedules.
    The Graphical Assignment application opens.
  2. In the Graphical Assignment application, open the schedule that you want to include on the Dispatching dashboard.
  3. If a scenario does not exist for the schedule, create a scenario for the schedule. From the More Actions menu, select the scenario that you want to create.
    • Create Manual Scenario
    • Create Labor Assignment Scenario
    • Create Spatial Scheduling Scenario
    If you want to use an existing scenario instead, open the scenario.
  4. Go to the Common Actions menu and complete the following substeps.
    1. Select Prepare for Dashboard.
    2. In the Prepare Schedule for Dashboard window, select the scenario that you want to appear on the dashboard. If you want to apply a template, click Select Template and choose a template from the list.
    3. Click OK.
  5. Go to the More Actions menu and complete the following substeps.
    1. Select Manage Publish Access.
    2. In the Manage Publish Access window, add names of persons, or groups who have permission to manage the publication of the schedule scenario. For more information, see Published schedules.
    3. Click OK.
  6. Click Return to return to the dashboard.
    The schedule scenario now appears on the Dispatching dashboard. You can add more schedules to the dashboard by clicking Add schedules.
