Scripts and launch points

You can create and maintain scripts and launch points by using the Automation Scripts application.

Script and launch point creation

From the Automation Scripts application, you can perform the following tasks:

Create a script.
Create a script with an object launch point.
Create a script with an attribute launch point.
Create a script with an action launch point.
Create a script with a custom condition launch point.
Create a script for integration.

The Automation Scripts application guides you through the process of creating a script and optionally associating launch points with it.

Script and launch point maintenance

After you create the script and launch point, you can use the Automation Scripts application to maintain them. You can perform maintenance by using the Automation Script, Variables, and Launch Points tabs in the Automation Scripts application. You can add or update the variables and their bindings. You cannot delete variables unless none of the launch points refer to that variable.
