Nonlinear components used by the product
The product uses some components that are not linear components and are used by other applications. These components must be enabled in the Security Groups application.

| Relationships tab in the Assets application | This tab must be enabled for the Assets application in the Security Groups application. Includes all fields in the main tab, and the View Asset Relationship History option in the Select Action menu. The component is not conditional and can be used for linear and nonlinear assets. |
| View Asset Relationship History | This option must be enabled for the Assets application in the Security Groups application. When enabled, the option is available in the Select Action menu, and opens the View Asset Relationship History window. |
| View Asset Specification History | This option must be enabled for the Assets application in the Security Groups application. When enabled, the option is available in the Select Action menu, and opens the View Asset Specification History window. |
| Add/Modify Units of Measure option in the Select Action menu, Assets application | This option must be enabled for the Assets application in the Security Groups application. You must configure units of measure to use when you create a linear referencing method. The component is not conditional and can be used for linear and nonlinear assets and several other applications. |
| Add/Modify Conversion Factors option in the Select Action menu, Assets application | This option must be enabled for the Assets application in the Security Groups application. You configure conversion factors to apply to units of measure to use when you create a linear referencing method.
