Asset availability in repair facilities
You can view the availability of assets, items, and tools that are required for work in the Work View tab.
Assets, items, and tools that are required for work are available in the Other Resource Availability window. Right-click on a work record in the Work View tab to see the availability of resources required for the work.
Asset availability is displayed
based on operating and maintenance schedules, and the appropriate asset calendar.
The availability displays as follows:
- An orange bar shows the calendar for the site of the asset.
- A green bar shows the maintenance schedule for the asset. It is the best time to schedule work.
- A red bar shows the operational schedule for the asset, when it is unavailable for maintenance.
Item and tool availability are shown in the following way:
- A green bar indicates that the item or tool is available during the scheduled work time.
- An orange bar indicates one of the following:
- If the work record is in WAPPR status, it indicates that the item or tool is partially available, and can be reserved.
- If the work record in not in WAPPR status, it indicates that a soft reservation has been made for this tool or item.
- A red bar indicates that the item or tool is unavailable during the scheduled work time.
Other resource availability appears for the date or the work record, plus 7 days in the future. You can change the calendar view to span different days using right-click options.
