You can specify default values for different types of labor
resources, tool resources, and inventory items. These codes are then
used to determine accounting charges.
Procedure
- In the Chart of Accounts application, select the organization
for which you want to define resource codes.
- Select the Resource Codes action.
- In the Resource Codes window, complete
the information specific to the type of resource code that you are
defining:

In the Internal field and External field,
specify the tool resource code components. |
| Inventory resource codes |
- Click New Row.
- Specify values for the commodity group.
- Optional: Specify a value for the inventory resource code component.
