Creating work orders

Work supervisors create work orders on the Work Progress page in the Work Supervision Work Center.

About this task

When you click Create work on the Work Progress page, you can enter essential details about the work. After you save the work order, a number is assigned to the work order, and you can enter more details about the work.

Procedure

  1. Click Create work and enter the essential details about the work, such as status, scheduling information, and related records.
  2. Save the work order.
    A number is assigned to the work order, and additional tiles and tabs are available.
  3. Add more details, such as information about failures, problems, and inspections. On the tabs, enter information, such as plans, comments, and attachments.
