Asset hierarchy synchronization

Asset hierarchies are synchronized by using the MASDDASSETHIER publish channel.

The following artifacts are used to synchronize asset hierarchies:
  • Publish Channel: MASDDASSETHIER
  • Object Structure: MXAPIASSET
  • Query Template: MASDDASSETHIER

You can synchronize all asset hierarchies, or you can synchronize a subset. Asset hierarchies are moved after assets are moved to ensure that hierarchies are accurately correlated with the assets.

To validate that data was successfully sent to the Asset Data Dictionary, you can use a REST API call that is similar to the following call:
https://host:port/maximo/oslc/masdd/asset
You can create queries that use primary keys, as shown in the following example: 
https://host:port/maximo/oslc/masdd/asset?assetnum=TEST1&siteid=BEDFORD
