KPI Graph portlet
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) provide the means to track critical performance variables over time. The KPI Graph portlet displays graphical representations of KPIs.
The KPI Graph portlet displays the Actual, Target, and Variance values for each KPI. When one KPI is selected for the portlet, it is shown as a gauge on the Start Center. When more than one KPI is selected, a bar chart is displayed.
Colors are used for an at-a-glance estimate of the value, and caution and alert values can be set. When the value of the KPI is in the safe zone, it is green. When the value of the KPI is between the caution and alert values, it is yellow. And when the value of the KPI is above the alert value, it is red.
There is also a status indicator of the directional trend since the last reading. For example, if a KPI is yellow but was previously red, then this trend is good. But if it is yellow and was previously green this trend is cause for concern.
The same information is displayed in the KPI List portlet, but in text format. You can display different KPIs in KPI List and KPI Graph.
