Loop locations

A loop is a set of instruments that are grouped and calibrated together. The input and output of the entire group determines whether the calibration is successful.

You identify a location as part of a loop in the Locations application by selecting the Loop Calibration check box on the Locations tab. You associate assets with the loop in the Assets application using the Location field for each asset.

You associate data sheets with locations in the Work Order Tracking application.

When assets are added in the Assets application, they are listed on the Assets tab in the Locations application. You use the Locations application to view the history of a loop calibration.

If a data sheet, which is part of a loop calibration, is marked as required, then all data on that data sheet is required. This data includes all asset functions for calibration points, function checks, or dynamic checks.
