Building failure hierarchies

You use the Failure Codes application to build failure hierarchies.

About this task

A failure hierarchy is a tree type of structure that shows relationships between identified problems, causes, and remedies for asset failures and for operating location failures. Failure hierarchies are built from the top-level of the hierarchy down to the bottom level of the hierarchy.

    4. Under the Problems table, click New Row.

    6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each problem in the hierarchy.
    7. Click Done and click Save Failure Code.
