Evaluating maintenance planning
A maintenance manager wants to evaluate the accuracy of project planning in the maintenance department by using the schedule compliance factor. The manager wants to compare projected and actual hours for planned work on a schedule.
Procedure
- In the Graphical Scheduling application, open the schedule that you want to evaluate.
- On the Compliance tab, enter the start and end dates for the time period that you want to evaluate. Click Start Compliance.
- In the Schedule Compliance Factor table
window, select the time period that you want to review. The table shows the planned hours for the time period.
- Click Finish Compliance.
- Save the record.
Results
The compliance details show in the Schedule Compliance Factor table. The Plan Work Records column lists the number of work records you planned to completed during the selected time period. The Actual Work records column list the number of work records you completed during the time period. The number of break-in and break-out work records are also listed. Break-in work is work that was not in the original schedule, but was later added. Break-out work is work that was included in the original schedule, but was later removed.
The Dashboard tab displays compliance information for each compliance period.
