You use the Failure Codes application to build failure hierarchies.
Navigating failure hierarchies
A failure hierarchy consists of a top-level failure class and several lower levels of failure codes.
Copying failure hierarchies
You use the Failure Codes application to copy a failure with its causes and remedies from an existing failure hierarchy into a new hierarchy or into a hierarchy that you are modifying.
Duplicating failure codes
You use the Failure Codes application to copy failure codes from an existing failure hierarchy into a new hierarchy or into a hierarchy that you are modifying.
