Relationships overview
A relationship describes the dependency or connectivity
between configuration items. A relationship can be unidirectional
or bidirectional. Rules exist for changing or deleting relationships.
Unidirectional and bidirectional relationships
A relationship describes the dependency or connectivity between configuration items. A relationship can be either unidirectional or bidirectional. The results of a search are affected when relationships are bidirectional or unidirectional.
Asset-based relationships
A relationship describes the dependency or connectivity between assets. You can define relationships, such as installed on or terminates , and then apply them to relevant assets.
Relationship cardinality
Cardinality is when you define a relationship, and you specify whether one or more configuration items can be in the source classification and target classification.
