Internal labor control account
The internal labor control account is used as the credit account for work done by internal employees.
Each labor record might have one or more craft and skill levels, and each craft and skill level might have a defined labor rate. If no vendor is specified on the defined labor rate, the rate is considered internal and has an internal labor control account. The internal labor control account is the internal labor account from the work location for the labor. When you update the work location, the internal labor account from the new work location is placed in each of the internal rates for the labor.
You can use the Application Designer to display or update the labor control account in the detail area of each of the labor rates. However, if the labor work location is then changed, the account that you entered is overwritten by the internal labor account of the new work location.
