Working with Self-Service
Self-Service applications enable self-service users to search for solutions to problems,
create and view service requests, and search across Service Desk or Service Catalog records for
information.
Self Service Center
The Self Service Center is a single application where self service users can submit service requests, view solutions, order offerings, view their assets, view news, and access their recent service requests.
Browse Solutions
The Browse Solutions application provides an easy way to search for helpful answers. Using the Search Solutions application you can search for potential solutions before submitting a service request. You can select and view details of any solution and its related attachments, such as documents or Web pages.
Searching with the Global Search application
Use the Global Search application to search across applications for records that contain specified text. You can search for one or more of the following record types at the same time: Solution, Service Request, Incident, and Problem.
Create Service Request
Use Create Service Request to fill out a form to create a new service request.
