View CI Topology

Select View CI Topology to launch to a topology view of the CI in the Configuration Items application. The CI topology provides a graphical view of a CI and its related CIs.

Viewing the CI topology

  1. On the current ticket record, enter a value in the Configuration Item field or click the Select Value icon to select a value.
  2. Click the Detail Menu icon next to the Configuration Item field, and select View CI Topology.

    The topology opens in the Configuration Items application, and you can explore a graphical representation of the CI and its relationships with other CIs.

  3. Click Return to return to the current record in the Incidents application after you have viewed the topology.
