Creating records in configuration items

You can create records in the Configuration Items application without accessing the Service Desk applications.

Procedure

  1. In the Configuration Items application, select the configuration item for which you want to create a record.
  2. Select the Create > Record Type action where Record Type is one of the following record types:
    • Service Request
    • Incident
    • Problem
    • Change
    • Release
    • Work Order
    • Solution
    • Communication
  3. Save the record.
