Getting started with Application Configuration

Choose the getting started guide that matches your deployment scenario.

Application Configuration setup varies significantly depending on your deployment type. Select the appropriate guide based on your environment:

MAS 9.0 and earlier (Docker container)

If you are running MAS 9.0 or earlier, you must use the Docker container deployment. This requires downloading and running a Docker image on your local development system.

MAS 9.1 and later (customer-managed)

If you are running MAS 9.1 or later in a customer-managed OpenShift environment, you can deploy Application Configuration directly in the Maximo® Application Suite user interface.

MAS SaaS

If you are using Maximo Application Suite SaaS, Application Configuration must be enabled by your Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) team before you can use it.
