  1. Under License Consumption, why does the Usage Dashboard display inaccurate consumption numbers?

    Answer: The usage dashboard in MAS-SaaS currently displays peak consumption for Maintenance Essentials that exceeds actual consumption by 150 AppPoints. This reporting discrepancy will be addressed in a future update.

  2. Does MAS-SaaS support Site to Site VPN?

    Answer: Yes, however requests for a Site to Site VPN must come through an IBM case ticket. Please keep in mind this requires the customer’s network team to collaborate with MAS-SaaS SRE Network team. For turnaround time, please refer to SRE Task Lead Times.   3. Does MAS-SaaS allow connection to the database?

    Answer: Yes, but there are specific limitations depending on your MAS-SaaS Edition. Please see the Database Access section for more details.

  4. Can customers access Manage log files?

    Answer: Logs files can be accessed from AWS S3 bucket(s). These are provided to individual customers for each environment.

  5. Can we use the HTTP and HTTPS end points to post to applications in the Cloud?

    Answer: Yes - HTTPS only.

  6. How does Single Sign On (SSO) setup work?

    Answer: Customers can request SSO setup work via IBM Case ticket

  7. Can customers run dbconfig for both NON-PROD and PROD?

    Answer: Yes. However IBM strongly advises the IBM SRE Self-Service Portal (SSP) is used for this purpose.

  8. Can customers use MXLoader (Manage)?

    Answer: Technically IBM does not support MXLoader, it is a third party product. Customers can use MXLoader outside of the IBM hosted SRE environment and connect to their Manage Application via the MIF (Maximo Integration Framework).

  9. Does MAS-SaaS support email, is there one provided out of the box? Can customer configure their own SMTP server?

    Answer: Yes, please refer to thre SMTP Setup section. If a customer wants to use their own SMTP server, they can open ticket with IBM to provide more details.
