Operational dashboard

The Operational dashboard is a modernized landing page that is similar to the Start Center. You can use the Operational dashboard to monitor KPIs, see your workflow assignments that are due soon, quickly complete tasks, and access other applications.

You can add customized cards to the Operational dashboard or modify the default dashboard cards by editing the dashboard.

It is also possible to add customized dashboards as new tabs, assign dashboard viewing permissions based on security groups and edit the default and customized dashboards.

KPIs

The Operational dashboard includes the following key performance indicators (KPIs):
Overdue Emergency Work
The number of emergency work orders that are overdue.
Overdue PM Work
The number of preventive maintenance work orders that are overdue.
PM Performance
The rate of closure of preventive maintenance work orders.
Health of Assets for PM Work
The state of the assets for planning preventive maintenance work orders.

Each KPI includes trend information, so you can see how much it increased or decreased since the last time the data was refreshed. You can also see how much each KPI is over or under the target that is defined by your organization.

You can use KPI Manager to refresh these KPIs manually, or you can schedule automatic refreshes by using the preexisting KPICronTask. For more information, see Managing cron tasks.

Favorites and Quick actions

The Favorites card contains links to other applications, including Work Orders, Workflow Assignments, Work Order Tracking, and Service Requests.

The Quick actions card contains links to forms for common tasks, such as creating a work order, creating a service request, and creating a purchase request.

Workflow assignments due soon

On the Workflow assignments due soon card, you can see your workflows assignments that are due in the next 24 hours or that are overdue. You can select one or more of these assignments to accept, reject, route, or reassign them. Clicking a workflow assignment opens it in the application in which it was created.
Note: You can view work orders on the Operational dashboard even if you do not have access to Work Order Tracking.

Work queues

On the Work queues card, you can see details of active work queues. You can select each queue to view its details in tabular format. It is possible to search, download, add or remove columns, filter, and refresh the data for each of the work queues that is displayed.

Note: You can see the Work queues card on the Operational dashboard even if you do not have access to Work Queue Manager.
