Deleting Linear segments on maps

Remove a linear segment from an asset to update its structure and keep asset data accurate.

1. Open a map that includes linear layers with features.
2. Open the Identify tool and select a linear feature on the map.
3. Use the navigation arrows in the Identify tool results window to locate the linear segment that you want to delete.
4. Click the Delete linear segment button.
   If this option is not available, you cannot delete this type of information directly from the map.
5. Confirm that you want to delete the current linear segment.
