Changes to service level agreements

As your business needs change, you use the Service Level Agreements application to change service level agreements.

When a service level agreement is in draft or inactive status, you can change information that is on the Service Level Agreement tab, Assets and Locations tab, and Escalation tab. When a service level agreement is in active status, you can change information about the Related SLAs tab and KPIs tab. If you need to change the status of a service level agreement, use the Change Status action.

If you change the values in a commitment line in a service level agreement that has related service level agreements, you are warned of any conflicting or less stringent commitments. One level up and one level down from the current record are validated, and all direct parents and all direct children of the changed service level agreement are checked.
