External Systems
You use the External Systems application to create and manage external system records. External systems are any external applications that you exchange data with using the integration framework.
You can use the External Systems application to perform the following
functions:
- Name the systems that exchange data with the integration framework.
- Specify the protocol that the integration framework uses to send data to the external system.
- Identify the publish channels and enterprise services that each system implements.
- Create interface tables.
- Perform data import and export.
- Manage JMS queues.
