Splitting the quantity on an inventory usage line

When an inventory usage line specifies an item quantity that exceeds the number of items in the primary storage bin, you must split the line across multiple bins to meet the required quantity.

1. On the Split Usage Quantity window, select the line for the item quantity that exceeds the current available balance.
2. Choose from the following options:

   Option	Description
   Non-rotating items	If the item is a non-rotating item, select New Row under the Split Across Multiple Bins table window. Specify the additional bins to source for the items on the inventory usage line.
   Rotating items	If the item is a rotating item, select New Row under the Select Rotating Assets table window. Specify the rotating items to allocate to the inventory usage line.

3. Click OK.
